Filmroom and Draft Expert
DERRIK KLASSEN is from the Central Valley of California, though he grew up near Tampa Bay, Florida. Covering the NFL draft gave him his start but studying the NFL itself has taken precedent. He has been published at SB Nation and Bleacher Report, and has worked for Optimum Scouting, do- ing charting and scouting reports for their NFL Draft Guide.
How did Buffalo's defense manage to shut down Tom Brady and make the Patriots look beatable? By solidly executing some deceptively simple coverage schemes -- and with solid contributions by some of the NFL's most underrated defenders.
Dak Prescott, Ezekiel Elliott, and Michael Gallup all deserve credit for the Cowboys' big win over the Giants, but Derrik Klassen shows why new offensive coordinator Kellen Moore might deserve the most credit of all.

The Bears, your reigning division champs, have a lot of defensive stars, but they'd be in big trouble if they lost a starter such as Khalil Mack or Leonard Floyd. Elsewhere, we find a lot of teams that need offensive help -- the Lions need linemen, while the Packers and Vikings need receivers.
The Michigan State product converted from offense to defense in college and is still learning his new position -- but his raw athletic gifts will probably entice some team to draft him higher than some more polished players.
Between his arm talent and big-play ability, there's no doubting the upside of Missouri's quarterback -- but issues with ball security and consistency make him a big risk for teams at the top of the draft.
